Come & Experience Glassblowing for Yourself!
A highly enjoyable, fun, safe & exhilarating experience is assured in our bi-monthly one-day Introduction to Glassblowing Workshops held in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. The workshop is called ‘What You Make You Take’ and throughout this exciting day you will make many vessel and solid forms including your own drinking glass, bowl and plate.
With many years experience in glassblowing and a popular teacher at Edinburgh College of Art glass department we are delighted to have well known glass artist Ingrid Phillips facilitate our glassblowing I workshops.
This workshop is designed to give a basic introduction to glassblowing and a background in the arts is not required, nor is physical strength or great lung capacity!.
Participants will be able to take home all works made in the studio along with a disc containing digital images of your days achievements. Price includes all beverages/tasty snacks and lunch including glass of champagne at te end of the day to celebrate your days achievements and many masterpieces.
With a max. of 4 participants this workshop gives great individual tuition.
Max. Participants: 4 / Age Requirements: 16 years+ / Workshop Duration: 10am to 5.30pm/6 pm
Price: £150 per person (Students 10% / SCG & CGS members reduction) inclusive of all materials, snacks/beverages & lunch.
