Furnace Sculpted threads of glass, kiln slumped and then fused to create intricate ‘icy’ like textural trails.

 ‘My work continues to be inspired by the beauty of glass threads/trails which often features in my own three dimensional glass artworks.  My aim for this wall surface was to create a glass story board in a sense – similar to a musical score with a visual beginning middle and end. The wall is well fitted to become the canvas for the converging, intertwining and often solitude paths which can be looked upon for their physical delicate beauty or as a journey’. – Nichola Burns
